Where whispering pines meet cascading waters — a hidden paradise for nature lovers.
Nestled deep within the northern wilderness, Pine Falls is a breathtaking natural waterfall surrounded by dense pine forests and rich biodiversity. The falls drop over 30 feet into a crystal-clear pool, creating a soothing soundtrack that echoes through the trees.
Declared a protected ecological site in 1987, Pine Falls remains one of the region’s best-kept secrets — perfect for hikers, photographers, and those seeking peace away from urban life.
Drive 45 miles north on Highway 12, then take Forest Road 7B for 8 miles. Parking available at trailhead.
Spring and early summer offer the fullest flow. Fall brings stunning foliage. Avoid winter due to icy paths.
Sturdy hiking boots, water, snacks, camera, and a reusable bag to carry out trash. Leave no trace!
Pine Falls is maintained by the Green Valley Conservation Society. Volunteers work year-round to protect native flora and fauna, maintain trails, and educate visitors on sustainable tourism.
