“help” 后面可以接 “doing” 吗？
在英语学习中，很多同学会疑惑：动词 help 后面能不能直接跟动名词（即 doing 形式）？例如，“He helped cleaning the room.” 这句话对吗？
标准用法：help + (to) do
在标准英语中，help 后通常接 不带 to 的不定式（bare infinitive），也可以接 带 to 的不定式（to-infinitive），两者都正确，但前者更常见于口语。
✅ She helped (to) cook dinner.
✅ Can you help me (to) carry these boxes?
那 “help doing” 对吗？
一般情况下，help 不能直接接 doing 表示“帮助做某事”。也就是说：
❌ He helped cleaning the room.
✅ He helped (to) clean the room.
但是！有一种特殊情况：can't help doing 是固定搭配，意思是“忍不住做某事”，这里的 help 并不是“帮助”，而是“避免、忍住”的意思。
✅ I can't help laughing when I see that video.
✅ She couldn't help crying after hearing the news.
⚠️ 注意：在 “can't help doing” 中，help = avoid/resist，而不是“帮助”。所以这属于另一个语法结构，不能混淆。
总结
- ✅ 表示“帮助做某事”时，用 help (to) do，不要用 help doing。
- ✅ 表示“忍不住做某事”时，用 can't help doing。
- ❌ 不要说 “He helped washing the car.” 应说 “He helped (to) wash the car.”
